Need-A-Break Services is partnering with those in the Chehalis area to provide MUCH NEEDED emergency help for victims of recent flooding in the area. We invite you to help in this relief effort.
The area of west of Chehalis, including Adna, Pe Ell, and Doty Dryad, was hit very hard by the flood. They are in the midst of trying to recover and rebuild. In the area of his ministry 75 homes were totally flooded and 25 of the 75 are beyond repair, so this tells us the degree of damage and devastation.
We will be working with those from New Harvest Church in Pe Ell, Washington as well as others in the community to provide help. We are assembling a crew of people who will go down THIS SATURDAY for a days work helping these families recover. In Pastor Dave Brown’s words, “volunteers are making the recovery possible”. The work would consist of cleaning, insulation removal or installation, electrical, sheetrock hanging, mud removal, etc. There is much to be done. They have a very good volunteer system in place.
Volunteers will be assembling and carpooling from the parking lot at Life Center Church in Tacoma at 7:00 am this Saturday, to return around 5:30 pm.
