Need-A-Break Services is putting on a community service day for 10 families in need of extra help this spring.
Get Involved with Good Neighbor DayWe are sponsoring a special day to help you spread the love of Christ by helping others in their community who need a break. Another objective that is equally important to us is creating
long-lasting relationships with people in the churches and groups that get involved. We will be
taking applications from the community for minor home repair and yard service. Ten applicants will be selected based on factors within our application process. We will then perform all ten
repairs across the community on one day, May 10th 2008.
How It Works Groups (10-20 people) of family, friends, small groups or other can sign up as crews to adopt a home that has been selected. This will include volunteering your time and donating the
materials or funds needed for the project. We will give your crew the information on the applicant after they have already been selected through our application process so that when you arrive on site all the details will have been worked out before.
If you are an individual we need you too! We will plug you into a group and your help will be greatly needed and appreciated. You can meet new friends while making a difference for your community.
There is also always the opportunity for you to make donations to Need-A-Break to help with the overall cost of this project and our other gifts we give to the community.
